Keith Ridgway is the Professor of Design and Manufacture at the University of Sheffield and Research Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing. Professor Ridgeway is also Director of the Sheffield Centre of Excellence in Customised Assembly (CECA). His major research interests are in advanced manufacturing technology and the evolutionary behaviour of manufacturing industry and he has published over 120 journal and conference publications. Professor Ridgway is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineering and a Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects. He was awarded the OBE, for services to UK manufacturing industry, in June 2005.
